Asphalt Rubber - the Truly "Green" PavementAsphalt Rubber or Rubberized Asphalt as it's sometimes referred to, is a process of blending crumb rubber produced from recycled scrap tires into liquid asphalt cement to produce an extremely resilient high performance, modified binder that is used in the paving process. The hot mix asphalt that is produced with Asphalt Rubber binder creates a roadway that is significantly more durable, longer lasting, quieter and safer than roads paved with conventional asphalt. |

AR 150M Asphalt Rubber Blending PlantThe recent introduction of Phoenix Industries AR150M has filled a gap in market that was not previously served. It is a small, very economical blending unit that enables a company to enter into the asphalt rubber production business in an area or country where it is a new market. The AR150M produces 10 tons per hour of modified binder so is sufficient to work with an asphalt plant at rates up to 150 ton per hour of finished hot mix. This unit is designed to fit in a standard 40' sea container for ocean shipping or on a regular flat bed truck so transportation cost are very low.
