Company Background
Phoenix Industries, LLC originated in 1988 as Phoenix Environmental, Ltd, an R & D company to develop remediation technology for specific waste streams. Millions of dollars and 10 years were spent developing proprietary thermal technology to detoxify metallic waste streams and create the world's only system for synthesizing customized molten oxides. These oxides, free of any contaminants, were able to be formulated with differing molecular and physical parameters, for a host of industrial and specialized uses. In 1997 Phoenix Environmental entered into an agreement with a Fortune 500 Company to design and build the most sophisticated and comprehensive micronizing facilities ever established. This facility would employ proprietary reaction technology, a form of self-propagating, high temperature synthesis that utilizes gaseous oxygen to convert eligible iron-units from a waste stream into a highly specialized iron-oxide product. Since the completion of this product, Phoenix Industries has continued to expand their area of expertise to include sulfur recovery systems, waste tire recycling plants, asphalt rubber blending equipment and recycling processes for plastics and metals.
In more recent years, Phoenix Industries has grown to be known as a worldwide leader for innovations in waste tire recycling processes and new technologies for asphalt rubber paving.
